National Popular Vote network

What is NPV?

Throughout its history, the United States has made significant progress in ensuring every American has an equal voice in elections. That’s why it’s so concerning that every vote still isn’t equal when it comes to electing the most important position in our country: the President. Under our current system, voters in just a handful of competitive states receive nearly all the attention in terms of how candidates spend their time, money, and other resources. Under a National Popular Vote, candidates would have to focus on every voter in all 50 states and the District of Columbia—making every vote truly equal.

“A National Popular Vote can be achieved while still working within the framework of the Electoral College and without a constitutional amendment. This is done through the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact, which is an agreement amongst states to pledge their electoral votes to the winner of a National popular Vote.

Isn’t it time the vote of every American counted equally?
